Statement of Our Spiritual Foundation

For this reason [we] bow [our knees] before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named, that according to the riches of his glory he may grant [us] to be strengthened with might through his Spirit in the inner man, and that Christ may dwell in [our] hearts through faith; that [we] being rooted and grounded in love, may have power to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that [we] may be filled with all the fullness of God.”                Ephesians 3: 14-19

Ephesians Life Ministries is a Christian organization rooted in our common belief in Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in Jesus Christ and His church, that where two or more are gathered in His name, He is among us. We base our counseling on the truths of God’s healing power.

Since 1979, Ephesians has offered a multifaceted program intended to serve the whole person. The faith component is included in our professional counseling services to the extent that the client desires and is comfortable with it. All of our counselors are Christian; our clients are from many faiths. We believe we are called to accept and love all people, meet them where they are, and respect the faith traditions of others.

If our clients are open to the conversation, we encourage them to understand and follow God’s plan for their lives. We encourage all clients to explore what gives meaning to their lives and help them see, with new perspective, beyond their immediate problems and pain. Our own faith is manifest through our personal prayer life, faith, and compassion.
